My new kitchen!

Thank you Dad & Debbie for Cyd's new kitchen! She LOVES it! We brought it into the kitchen when we were cooking last night and she didn't bother us once! She was cooking up her own supper!

Other Fun Pictures:

Isn't this cute!!?? So sweet, huh? Well..... notice Cyd grabbing Matt's neck skin! She even managed to bite his lip! hahah! It's his own fault! He had a lemon drop in his mouth & was letting her taste it... She obviously liked it!!!

And these just warm my heart! I think we have a little helper on our hands! She's been doing this almost everyday now!
Multi-tasking just like her mom!

So sweet!

Matt, if you're reading this, we love & miss you! Can't wait to see you tomorrow and head to the zoo on Friday!

Loi's Pool!

Thank you Jan & John for having us over for a night of relaxation by the pool! We all definitely needed it after that day we had! Hopefully, your ultimate goal of having both of the families together at once will happen this summer!

Show us your muscles....with those PINK sunglasses! ;-)

You're hangin' out a little there honey!

Hasn't quite decided if he likes it yet... By the end of the evening he was floating all by himself and jumping in like a wild man! Those are some great floaties Janelle! I told Kasie where you got them already!

I think your daddy would like it if you had some blue glasses on! ;-)

Such a sweet Family! Evie, Tiff & Dan

'The Shire'

We had so much fun tonight! Don't laugh, but we went creek walking! ;-) hahaha. You'll see why the boys call this place 'The Shire'! It was a gorgeous night in a gorgeous place! The pictures don't even do it justice. This is literally at the end of my in-laws drive-way.

She wasn't quite so sure at first...

We left our wagon behind.

Going for a 4-wheeler ride down the creek.
Watch out! Even Mimaw got in on the action!

Waiting for us to come along!

Dan took Mimaw for a 'real' ride! ;-) She had a ball!

I need to be a photographer! hahah! Tiff, Dan & Evie.

Cyd took a spill. She ended up having a great time!

The whole gang, - me.

Papaw, Cyd & Mimaw.

This is what they do EVERY time now when they see each other! Precious!!!

Papaw showing Cyd some berries or something.

It got a little deep!

We had so much fun!

Happy Father's Day!

To all you Daddy's out there! Especially, to these fella's in my life! I'm so blessed to call you my husband, to have you both as a Father, to hug 3 Grandpas & to be able to call you all my Brothers! Words aren't enough to fully describe what these men mean to me.. Thank you all for being great Fathers to your families and great role-models for each other!

I love and appreciate you guys!

I can't say this enough, but God is so good.

My Loves... I can't say enough about you, Matt. Just like we were talking about yesterday, all my dreams have come true and they would not have happened without you.... and I can't imagine sharing them with anyone else other than you. You are THE BEST husband, father & leader any girl could ask for! I can't wait for many, many more years together! I.LOVE.YOU!

To our Father's.. Man, what great inspirations these men have been to Matt! Thank you for all that you've taught us, the endless love you've given & all of the mistakes you have forgiven. I love each of you more than you know!

Our Grandfathers: I don't have a picture of Grandpa Lankford, but these two gentlemen are Grandpa Naville& Grandpa Missi.... You all are the BEST! I love you!
My Bro: he's going to be such a great father to two little girls...overnight! ;-) You're my baby bro' and always will be. Thank you for being you and always being there! I love you so much.
To Jason, my bro-in-law: I can't thank you enough for all the support you've given Matt & I. I'm proud to call you my 'bro' and glad you made Kelly a 'Hoehn'! ;-) Love ya!
And, last but not least, Matt's brother's... I couldn't have asked to marry into a better family that share so much love... You've made me feel so incredibly welcome!
(Aside from the toast at the reception, Jerry! hahaha) Love ya!

Am I blessed or what!? I'm so, so thankful to have each & every one of these men in my life! I don't tell you 'fathers' enough, so, one more time.... I LOVE YOU GUYS!

Grandma Naville

I have to report with a heavy heart, that Grandma Naville went to be with our Lord & Saviour last night. I was just told that when she first went into the hospital, she told one of her daughters that when the pain got too severe, she would go to her happy place... Which was heaven. Thankfully, she is going to be in her happy place for eternity waiting for all her precious gems to join her... in the Lord's timing. As sad as this is, it's also a time of great celebration. Celebration of the life her and Grandpa created. 11 kids, 40 grandkids, 18 great-grandchildren and 3 more on the way! I heard one of the kids call it an 'empire'! haha! That's so funny. You couldn't imagine all of the stories being told about her life... It's awe-inspiring. She was a woman with such strength, faith, love, devotion, selflessness and sheer gratitude for all her blessings from the Lord. You never caught her without a smile or complaining.... She had such a genuine happiness in her life that was contagious to all who were around her! You couldn't imagine the love you would feel from her just being in the same room with her... The love in the waiting room with her kids & grandkids was radiating...it was the love they learned from her. Families like these are hard to come by nowadays and I'm so incredibly blessed to be a part of it. I only hope and pray to leave half of a legacy that she has.

Matt and I have finally come to a conclusion on our babies name and it brings tears to my eyes to even say it.. Amelia Jean Naville. It's only appropriate. Yes, both our mothers hated that middle name, but when Matt remembered last night that Grandmas middle name was Jean too, it sealed the deal. As much as I loved the middle-name of Grace, I can't imagine it being anything other than Amelia Jean now. I personally love saying that I'm named after my Grandma Hoehn and I can't wait until Amelia has that pride in saying that about her middle name of not only 1, but 3 Grandmas.....
This post doesn't do her life justice. But, I just had to share a little snippet of her life with you all. I hope and pray that each and every one of you have a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, pillar, inspiration or 'someone' out there that has touched your life how she has touched every.single.life she has come into contact with.... I could go on for hours about our sweet, gorgeous grandma and I've only known her for 8 short years. I can't imagine all of the feelings & stories that are going to be shared in the coming days by people who have known her their entire lives...
Blessings to you all.

My family

We just had a great weekend at home in Evansville. Mile's (Matt's bf from high-school) & Allie got married and Matt and I attended all the festivities MINUS a cute, little toddler. We don't see my family near enough, so when all of this was coming up, i thought it would be a great chance for them to have Cyd, without her parents always hovering around!

***UMMM, is it just me, or is it green outside right now!? Our chairs have flown to god knows where... It's CRAZY here right now! Power just went out, so I'll be back later!***

Alright, back to normal now. Phew, that was pretty sketchy! Anyhow, my family had such a good time with Cyd and I'm quite positive Cyd loved her time with them too! I think they were actually pretty bummed to see us come home. They got to experience her stubborness with eating - which, by the way, I'm nipping in the bud now... We're starting the 'You eat what I give you, how I give it to your or you don't eat' method... I hate it, but it's ridiculous what she's doing... I'm sure that will be a post in and of itself, so I'll leave it at that for now. We just started this yesterday...

Ok, Ok, back to my family! I keep getting off track! I love my family dearly and miss them more than they know.... I don't tell them enough how much they mean to me... Like the Naville family, we're growing leaps & bounds too! My brother & sis-in-law are also expecting... IDENTICAL TWIN GIRLS! Due a day after us, but obviously, they will grace us with their presence sometime in August, I predict... So, my parents are going from three grandkids to SIX within a month! ;-) They're loving it to say the least!

Here we all are: Minus my bro-in-law, Bryan, he was working somewhere out of the country this weekend. and.... Yes, that's the Pope in the background!! haha! Can you guess where we are fellow Floyd Knobers? (Is that a word!? ;-))

At Cyd's 1st Birthday Party

Cyd with Mimi & Papaw. She calls Grandma Naville Mimaw and Grandma Hoehn Mimi. TOO CUTE!
Kelly & her mini-me, Erin! Gorgeous!
The Grandkids!

Jason & his all-star son, Logan!
Cheese! Such a cutie!
We got to go to one of Logan's 'Poseyville' baseball games! He did awesome! I was one proud Auntie!
Cyd was rooting him on too!

All decked out and ready to play some ball!
I need Logan with me to get Cyd to brush her teeth! She did so good with his guidance! Not the same story with me and Daddy!

I just had to include this picture from Monday! I put a romper on her and she just looked so weird in it! Made her look like such a BIG GIRL in a BABY outfit! I don't know why they make them for kids this big!?

Thanks for such a great weekend and watching Miss Thang for us! We enjoyed our nights out so much! We're heading back home next weekend for Logan's 8th Birthday! Is that possible!? Kids grow up way too fast! I wonder what Dad thinks of me turning 30 in January! HOLY MOLY! Do I have to???? ;-)
