How is possible that I have a four year old!?!? Sister, you're really coming into your own. I'm just so proud of you. We have our normal snaffu's with your general sharing and you just being a girl, but you're ohso sweet to Eli and you and Mimi play so well together....mostly!!! haha! Four is starting out to be a great age! I must say, I think the best part so far is the fact that I can explain things to you and you finally UNDERSTAND! Like, how many sleeps it will be until we go to Evansville and why we can/can't do things and mostly, understanding the process of sharing... 'If Amelia shares her things with you, then don't you think a good choice would be to share your toys with her!?' you will usually come around. It's definitely made life easier!

We went to a bounce house place for you and Evie's party this year. It's an understatement when I say that you had a blast! :)

Your first school picture! Gotta love the fake smile and foam bracelet! ;) And, yeah, about school... you l.o.v.e. it! And you have quite an affection for a little boy named Rayden. It's quite insane how early this starts and I'm certain we're not ready for it! It's a good thing your innocent little heart only knows him as a 'boy' and a 'friend'... You haven't put the two together yet. phew!

Cydni ~ your Daddy and I love you more than words can describe! You have our hearts in the palm of your hands and you never cease to amaze us. You have a sweet heart and such a kind spirit. I must say, I think I've instilled my OCD tendencies in you. :) You're pretty set in your ways and are quite the picky eater!!! I've really got to get my rear in gear getting you to eat better! I feel like I've tried EVERYTHING! We shall see how it goes! You've won this battle for far too long.. haha! :)

Eli is 5 months old!

Life seems to be moving faster than the speed of light!!! How is it possible that my baby boy is 5 months old already!? He's had a big month, starting out with a double ear infection, that has reared it's ugly head again last week! Poor guy, I hate it for him... Hopefully, we're coming out of it! For his sake and ours!! I need my sleep back! Haha!

I don't know if it's the bond that everyone talks about a mom with her 'boy' or what, but I just can't get enough of him!

Anyways, little man has done a lot this month! I love looking back and jotting everything down!

He is such a sweet, sweet soul and a mama's boy (which he has to be because I'm his life-source right now)! Haha!

He's squealing, intentionally laughing and 'playing' with his voice by making it loud and soft.

Like I said earlier, he's getting over his second double ear infection of the month.. After three different antibiotics, I think augmentum has finally kicked them!

Two teeth are thisclose to popping thru! :(. So sad about that one!

Still smiling through it though!

He's obviously big enough for the bumbo and exersaucer and his little legs are getting quite strong for him to be standing with our hands for a little bit.

We're loving his slobbery, open-mouthed kisses!

We've given him cereal so the antibiotics don't tear up his belly so much.

Moving on up to size 3 diapers! I'm sick of the blow-outs! :). That's always my first sign to go bigger!

He has an elusive dimple on his right cheek when he smiles and a little brown birthmark on his left foot. :)

Looks a lot like Cydni (and apparently a lot like daddy) when she was his age.

I'm so gonna miss these gummy smiles!!! :).

I love you more than you'll ever know Elijah! please, please, please stop growing so fast!

This past week has been nothing short of an amazing blur... Starting with Christmas at the Naville's Christmas Eve (with a visit from Ben the Spiderman! :)), onto Christmas morning at our house and then to Evansville Christmas afternoon! We had a blast, but I'm pretty sure we're still recovering and we've been home since Tuesday! haha. With saying that, I really don't feel like doing a long drawn out post, so I'll let the pictures do the speaking!

I hardly have any photos from November! Being the bright person I am, I forgot my camera at both family Thanksgiving get-togethers! But, I do have about 50 or so to choose from.... Oh wait, is that alot? To me, it's not! Is that bad? :)

Thankfully, we went to the doctor today for his check-up and found out that his double ear-infection is gone! Yay!

He's on a 3-4 hour schedule and sleeping from 9ish-8 or 8:30. This last week has thrown us for a loop though. He's been bitten by his first ear-infection... A double one at that! So, he's gotten his first taste of antibiotics.. :( Crossing my fingers, but I think he may be finally turning the corner... First round of meds didn't work, so we're on day 3 of the second round and it seems like my baby is back! Hopefully!

He's quite smitten with his sisters (feeling is mutual) and he watches the dogs every move!

Well, we're still coming down from our high from IU beating #1 ranked (not anymore!) Kentucky! Lots of KY fans are babbling about the refs, blahblahblah, but I'm pretty sure no-calls went both ways and KY missed lots of free throws! So, keep on talking... Better for you to lose now than in the tourney like last year!

Anyways, happy 4 months sweet boy! We love you!

I have joined the world of owning an iphone and I finally understand what the craze is all about! I.love.it! Mostly, because of the ability to take some great pictures and the ability to upload them right onto your blog, facebook, etc! It's fabulously addicting. I'm going to need an intervention. :)

Eli is 3 months old!

Where did this last month go!? Little dude is growing like a weed and smiling up a storm! He's such a blessing and a pure joy to be around! I am a puddle in his tiny little palm... Everyone always told me that there was something about a momma's little boy and they definitely weren't joking!

What's he been up to, you ask? Well.... all the fun is starting!

(not that the first 3 months aren't fun, they just start doing so much more after 2 months.)

~Doing lots of talking, smiling and giggling!!! love.it!

~He's become an avid thumb-sucker! (Still not sure what I think about it!)

~Sleeping thru the night! (having a few hiccups lately tho)

~He made his first trip to Huber's for a pumpkin.

~3-6 month clothes

~Was a little monster for his first Halloween.

~4 naps

~Looking like a big boy!

~First trip to Evansville.

~His first photo with all the 'Hoehn Dudes.' :)

~Nursing every 3-4 hours and gets 1-2 ounces of formula in his night-time bottle.

~Met his buddy/cousin, Maverick.

~A first over-night stay up in Indy.

~He had his first romp in the leaves.

I can't believe his first Thanksgiving & Christmas are right around the corner!

Not sure how this post got away from me.

This sweet boy is almost a month old now! Crazy how time flies. Anyhow, Chad (my brother) & Jen added some testosterone to their brood last month! Mav and Eli are 2 months exactly apart.

These newborn days are so fleeting.

It's hard to imagine Elijah was this tiny 3 short months ago.

Can't wait until they get into some trouble together! :)

I'll have to remember I said this 4 years down the road.

Cyd LOVED him. She's a pro now. :)

Can't wait to see the little dude again! We love him so much!

Before I get to the glasses, I just had to add this. Poor thing... Of coarse I had to make her wait there a few more minutes so I could get a picture! :) I actually had to call Matt up from downstairs b/c I couldn't get her positioned right to get her out!

Long story, short... Mimi has an astigmatism in her right eye & is far-sighted...

20/40 in her left eye & 20/50 in her right eye.

Isn't she cute!? :) They're red & purple... Purple being her f.a.v.o.r.i.t.e. color...

One of our friends was calling her: Lisa Loeb (sp?) :)

fits Mimi perfect! :) haha

She loves them & actually asks for them in the morning! I can tell they help her b/c she actually concentrates on books now instead of tossing them aside after a few minutes!

Pinterest Obsession

So, I had every intention of not jumping on the bandwagon of Pinterest, b/c that's the last thing I need is more computer time, but how can you not love that site!? I've actually cut out facebook time for it. :) haha.

A few things I've created or have plans for creating:

Scarves out of old t-shirts.

Super-hero capes out of old t-shirts.

Used photo ideas for our recent pictures.

Planning a few Christmas decorating projects & home-made gifts.

Have made several meals from recipes I've found on there (& have lots more to make).

The girls and I have done several crafts I've found on there and one of our favorites was making multi-colored crayons out of broken ones!

Elijah is 2 months old!

My little buddy is oh, so sweet and growing oh, so fast! I just can't believe it's been two months already! Things are going awesome and I'll say it once again, I can't imagine life without him... It's like he's been here all along! :) The transition from two to three has been 'easier' than the transition from one to two. Not sure why, just has. I feel more comfortable and at ease. I've definitely slept better this time around and I know that plays a HUGE role in it all... atleast for me! :)

I pulled pictures from the beginning of September until now. They're actually in order! So, down the road, I can see the progression of changes in him....

Little dude, brother bear, Julio, Pedro has this mama's heart in the palm of his hand.

Nursing ever 3-4 hours. Mostly 3.

Waking once in the night (Hopefully this will be on the way out soon! The girls were both sleeping through the night right about now).

In size 2 diapers now.

First real bath... I know, don't hold it against me, he's in a pink tub. :)

We bought her this bike from a friend as a present when she got home from having her tonsils and adenoids out and tubes in her ears put in.... that was May! She started testing the waters in August and finally in September she mastered it!

Thinking hard about it.

She's off!

It seems like lately, atleast one of my kiddo's has another 'milestone.'

I can't hardly keep up!

I mean, seriously, my life is flashing before my eyes! This sweet, big girl is taking her first big step into independence... :( It's a mix of emotions for me because she loves it and needs it, but she is also my baby and I don't want her growing up so fast!

Believe it or not, I didn't tear up until I was driving away from dropping her off! If you know me, that's a huge accomplishment! :) I attribute it to not having any time to even think about it until that morning! haha. :)

Three weeks in and she is having a blast, learning a ton and we haven't heard her talk about one girl.... Aiden & Cooper seem to have left a mighty impression in her mind. :) If she starts talking about a boyfriend already, I might pull her out of school! :) I kid.

Well, of coarse, Elijah is screeching, so that's it for now!

So, where in the world has the time gone!? It seems like yesterday that this sweet-pea entered this world! It just doesn't seem real. She truly is such a darling, little spit-fire and keeps us smiling every day. Let's not forget, she is two... so, she tries our patience too! :)

She's such a good big and little sister! She adores Elijah and idolizes Cydni.

They have their moments with each other, but I'm sososo thankful that she and Cydni are starting to play really well together.... just in time for me to have most of my attention on Elijah.

It melts my heart to see them loving on one another.

She is Cydni's shadow. Wants what she wants. Says what she says.

So, this fire-cracker just up and quit sucking her thumb when we got home from the hospital with Elijah! I really think she went through some withdrawals b/c she was an emotional mess, couple that with the fact that Elijah graced us with his presence and you have a cute little basket-case. :) haha. I'm happy to report she's much better now!

Eli is 6 Weeks Old!

This little guy is growing like a weed!

This Thursday (which is also Mimi's 2nd birthday!... Hello, pause, please!) he turns 6 weeks old!

I've got tons of 'daily' photos, but I'd rather share some from our newborn photo shoot. He was eight days old. Am I really just getting around to post these!? I just haven't felt a.n.y. desire to blog. I've got LOTS to blog about, so my goal this week is to get atleast 2 more in! We'll see if that happens! :) Don't hold me accountable! :)

We did these in his room, which he's been sleeping in for 3 weeks now!

He's been giving us lots of smiles, but they're pretty elusive to catch right now! :)

He's eating every 3 hours.

Little dude finally lost his umbilical cord at 5 WEEKS! I was so excited to give him a real bath!

As of Friday, he was 11.7 lbs. I was there on Tuesday for his check-up and had to go back on Friday (he has reflux), I was concerned with his weight-gain, b/c he hadn't been eating well at all for a few days... But, Pedro must be inhaling his food, b/c he gained 6.5 oz in 4 days!

Size 1 diapers.

He rolled over from his belly to his back a couple weeks ago, but hasn't done it again since... Probably b/c he loathes tummy time and I don't make him struggle much.

He's.sweet.as.pie. and ice cream and cake and candy...

and loves being dangled in the air. :)

The last three weeks have been such a joy! It really does seem like he's been with us all along... There have been the obvious transitioning hiccups, but all in all, it's been alot smoother than what I anticipated... for now atleast! :) I am overcome with so many emotions and just a few of them are joy, love, peace & fulfillment! God is so good and I'm so thankful for all of His blessings on us!

Here we are!

We are alive and well and loving life! I'm so thankful for my awesome husband. He's been right by my side the whole time, making the transition incredibly smooth and healing from a surgery as good as it can be. Case in point, I woke up from a nap today to a clean house! It's the little things that makes me happy!

Blessed beyond measure...

So, my 'story' is pretty boring. I guess it all starts back with Cydni... I labored all day with her and it ended in an emergency c-section. With Amelia, I would've tried a v-bac if I went into labor on my own before 39 weeks... I didn't, so at 39 weeks, I had another c-section. With Elijah, we just signed up for the c-section at 39 weeks. I'm sad that I'll never have the natural birth experience, but I'm incredibly thankful for uneventful pregnancies that ended in the result of three beautiful, healthy babies! :)

Bright and early on Thursday morning, we headed to the hospital!

Well, by the end of this week, we'll be a family of FIVE (or eight if you can't the dogs & fish! ;)). It's completely insane how quickly the time passed!

Eli's Room...

First, I must say, I love IKEA!

That's where the decor came from... I made the monogram, bedskirt (thank you liquid sew and iron & hem! :) haha!) and improvised on the frames with pictures in them.... Other than that, aside from furniture and the curtain, it all came from the great IKEA. Every room in my house has something from IKEA in it! :)

Anyways, in the beginning, we were going for something 'plain.' Well, I just couldn't do plain... My brain blocked any idea I came up with and kept coming back to these things I saw in the magazine. My friend, Emily, just happened to be going to IKEA in late June and I had her pick some of the things up. Then, three weeks ago, I made a trip up with Kasie and Kristy and finished it off! Matt and I painted the room over 4th of July weekend and the rest has kind of come together in the last week. I'm really happy with it. It's the furthest from plain, but it puts a smile on my face! Anyways, aren't bold, primary colors supposed to stimulate their mind!? :) I might have to worry a little about over-stimulation! ha!

It's the final countdown!

I'm full-term. Cervix is 'far back,' thick and closed.... In all reality, that's good, b/c I don't really want to go on my own... too risky with having two prior c-sections... I definitely don't think I'm going to go on my own, so 15 more days until I get to stare at my baby boy! :)

Given that, my doc is pretty 'safe,' so I've been put on travel restrictions. I've been measuring big all along and I've been having wretched pelvic pain, so she doesn't want to take chances.... I missed my nieces birthday and I'm going to miss some very dear friends getting baptized and their little daughter being dedicated... :-( Seriously, seriously bummed!

What else? Horrible, no good, nasty indigestion.

This pregnancy has been harder on me, but I still can't complain...

Other than that, I've got nothing! Except pictures!

No post is fun without a picture....

If you can't tell, they're spying on a little 'hare' out there.

So, back to blah... That's pretty much how I've been feeling... I've taken maybe 20 pictures this month (hence the lack of posting). Being stuck inside b/c of the heat is for the birds, but I don't want to complain, b/c it could be worse!

On the flip-side, we're so stinkin' excited to meet our little dude in less than 3 weeks! It's very surreal, it's went very fast and I'm kinda nervous to have #3.... and on top of that, a BOY! :) All I know is girls, so it's going to be interesting mothering one of the opposite sex! :) haha.

We rang in 32 Weeks (now 33), with celebrating the wedding of my cuz, Amber! :)

I didn't get a picture of the bride, but she was GORGEOUS and Cydni LITERALLY thought she was a princess... The 'White Princess,' in particular! :) It was so sweet and funny!

Nothing to report really...

Cydni and Amelia have felt Eli move and they think it's the coolest thing! :)

And, I feel huge! Especially by the way people look at me and with their comments... It's been interesting to say the least!

So, if I could get my rear in gear, I would get to my 32 Week Pregnancy Post (now that it's actually 33 weeks, but who's really counting! :)) I just get so lazy uploading & editing photos... So, when the day actually comes, I end up doing 5-6 posts so I don't have to worry about it for awhile... I'm still waiting for that motivation to hit me though...

Until then, I forgot that I finally uploaded all my photos from my phone! I love going through them! And, yes, I've NEVER done this before, so you'll be getting some blasts from the past!

Naville Boys stay at the Naville Girls House! :)

So, a few weeks ago, Jerry & Kasie set off for their 10 YEAR Anniversary to Destin!

Yay to them!

While they were gone, we kept Jude & Ben for 3 nights & 3 days (Gpa & Gma Naville came and got them for the next 2 nights and 2 days) and Braune stayed with us the whole time. I tell you what, I can't believe how well it went! Their kiddos are on the same routine/schedule as ours, so we basically did our normal thing each day, but with more kids! :) It was crazy and insane, b/c there were so many kids and the littlest thing like going to the bathroom, brushing teeth or even getting dressed seemed like a daunting task, but we overcame! :) haha By Wednesday night, I feel like I had it mastered! ... and, then they left the next day... :) I would get everything ready the night before and have meals planned out, so the only thing I had to do was execute everything! And, it went great b/c I had GREAT kiddo's helping me through the day!

The only glitches I had to deal with was with the TOYS and hoarding them! Imagine that. I'm not about to complain though! It went awesome!

Each day, we headed outside for awhile! Braune was usually asleep during this time.

Big Boy Jude! Completely insane that he's going to be FIVE!

On Wednesday, a friend and I took everyone to a local theater where they offer a free movie during the summer! That week it happened to be Despicable Me and they loved it! Of coarse, I didn't have time for a picture! :)

And, Jude wouldn't let us forget about 'punching'! :) They had a ball with the Kinect!

Cydni's first surgery (and hopefully last!)

So, a week after San Diego, poor Cyd had to get her tonsils and adenoids out and tubes put in her ears. She never had chronic ear infections or strep, but per her pediatrician said she had HUGE tonsils. She was also FAILING all her hearing tests. The ENT said she 'heard' like she had ear-plugs in all the time and he assumed her adenoids were big causing them to block her Eustachian tubes, which in turn, caused the 'ear-plug' effect.

Poor girl, doesn't know what's about to hit her...

She was a happy drunk after they gave her the 'princess juice'! :)

She was such a trooper and her recovery process was better than I could've ever expected!

Amelia (and the dogs) enjoying the perks of her sisters pain. :) However, Mimi was recovering from croup and an ear infection too!

We're almost done weaning her from the pain meds, but other than that, I would say she's fully recovered! Her voice completely weirds us out! :) It used to be real nasally, but now it's a 'soft' high-pitched tone. I wish she could explain how different she feels... Looking forward to see what the ENT has to say in a week and how the hearing tests change!

**Random thought**

I wish you could 'like' a blog post... I don't always feel like or have time to comment on all the blogs I want to and I would love to show them some blog love by 'liking' their post! Anyways, I'm all over the place and just thought I'd throw that out there. :)

Matt and I had a great time on our little 'get-away' to San Diego.

Major props to Aunt Tiff for keeping the girls!!! :)

Even though it was work-related and we would've loved to do our own thing, it was an awesome trip and it just affirms that we want to go back one day! ... WITH the girls! It was so weird and quiet without them!

We stayed at the Omni...

and I really wish I could've basked in the sun for more than one day with this set-up! It was so nice! Unfortunantly, it was unseasonably cold/windy, but the one day I did get lay-out, it was heavenly!

While Matt was off in his meetings, I gallivanted around downtown...

Every inch of this shop was JEWELRY! Too cool.

I really wish I my sister, Michelle, was with me (she used to live here), but she loves 'boutiquing' or boutique shopping and I was thinking of her the whole time I was in Gaslamp Quarter.

That same day, I trekked down to seaport village. Very cute and quaint!

It's basically an area along the marina with quite a few little eccentric shops, etc. I had alot of fun exploring them and finally getting me some Sanuk flip-flops! If you haven't tried them on, DO IT! They're flops that the bottoms are made out of yoga mats! Love them!

One of the highlights of the trip was the 'last hoorah' that the company did as the send-off. They literally rented out an entire aircraft carrier called the U.S.S. Midway that's docked at the marina. The had tours of the lower decks, a U.S.O. Band and lots of good food!

On the upper-deck with displays/replicas of one of each plane, helicopter, etc. that had taken off there.

It was alot of fun and can't wait to go back!

Very thankful that Matt has such an awesome employer that allows him to work from home, gives us opportunities like San Diego, that is completely understanding of family & is extremely flexible with his time. We are so blessed and thank God for all the amazing opportunities He has placed in front of us. We would've NEVER in our wildest dreams thought we would be where we are today. All the glory goes to HIM.

30 Weeks

Ok, peeps. You have to cut me some slack on how awful I look! My 30th week has entailed having FIVE rugrats to run after! I'm not even going to tell you how many showers I took while they were here! haha! Atleast, one... I promise! :) They're gone now (Ben & Jude are... we're still loving on Braune for 2 more days!) and it's SO weird! We were/are so blessed with well-behaved, good sleeping kiddo's that I couldn't have asked for their stay to have gone any better!!! Anywho, that's another post coming soon.

Back to, 30 weeks...

Not much to say about it. We're just trucking right along. I'm sore all the time, but I'll be the first to admit that I'm probably doing too much, but I'm in this sense of urgency stage, where I have to get all of my 'other stuff' done, so I can focus on just getting stuff together for Eli. After this week, I am confident that I can chill a bit.. We've been doing alot of stuff outside, so besides watering all my new plants and mulching I should be done there... Then onto painting his room!

I only gained 1 lb these past two weeks, so it looks like that's going to be leveling out! phew! 17 lbs in 3 months is way too much for me! 18 lbs total...

So, here I am! I included a bare-belly this time... I've been really weird about showing it this time around... With the girls, I could care less, but I've been more apt to cover-up these days..

Hoehn Visit!

You may have been wondering where I've been... or not, but I feel like I haven't posted in a long time! It's been crazy times around here! Matt and I flew out to the West Coast, San Diego in particular, for a little work/play visit (sans the girls).... A day after we got back, my brother and his family came to visit for the weekend. That same weekend, Amelia came down with croup (my AWESOME pediatrician saw her on Sunday night and said we would've been in the hospital if we hadn't come! gah) and then she got an ear infection (found that out on Wednesday)! Then, that THURSDAY, we checked Cydni into the out-patient surgical center to get her tonsils & adenoids out and tubes in! And, as I'm typing, we have THREE extra kiddos in the house for a few days!!! Jerry and Kasie are hitting the beach for their 10 year anniversary and we are very excited to keep the boys for them so they can have an awesome time! :)

So, needles to say, it's been insane!

So, without further adieu and first up of a series of posts, is our visit with the Hoehn's!! :)

We were so excited to get to spend some time with them. Especially, those sweet little twins! Exciting times are in-store for them! They find out next Tuesday if they're going to be adding more PINK or BLUE to the family! :)

So, I've been on a hair cutting frenzy. Must be spring fever... Or, b/c so much is changing right now that, why not chop all of our hair off while we're at it! ;-)

There's really not 'alot' changing, but it feels like it! We're smack dab in the thick of combining both girls in one room... (It's getting better) And, I'm loving how it's all turning out... But, I'll save that for another post... And, I started 'finishing' our room, which is on hold again b/c.... I'm finally starting to look for 'ideas' for Eli's room! Which, is it bad that I don't like anything at Babies R Us!? I'm not trying to be picky, but I just don't want anything animal, sports, plaid, disney, etc. etc. I think I'm just going to go plain... I'm thinking that's the only option left! ;-)

ANYWHO! Back to the task at hand! The girls' new 'do's'!

I know there are some horribly difficult days as a mom.... but, at the end of the day, when the kiddo's are asleep, I always can look back and be incredibly thankful that the Lord blessed me with an AMAZING husband, two sassy, spunky and beautiful daughters and vibrant little baby boy (Elijah 'Eli' Matthew) tucked inside my belly. ;-)

He is Risen!

With each passing year, Easter means so much more to me. It's more personal. And, I'm beyond thankful for our Savior! My prayer for all of you is that you have a personal relationship with Jesus and that you know the true meaning of Easter isn't the easter bunny, egg hunts and candy, but that you believe Jesus died for each one of us, to save of us from our sins and rose 3 days later as a promise to us for eternal life, that if we give ourselves to Him, we are new and free from our sins and will live with Him for eternity in heaven. ;-)

20 Weeks.

Not much going on this month... Except for, I guess, EATING. Apparently, I haven't had any problems with nausea the past 4 weeks, b/c I gained SIX, yes.. 6 POUNDS! Hello, I need an intervention with my Strawberries & Chocolate, French Onion Soup and Little Debbie Brownies! hahaha. I had only gained 2 lbs thus far, so I'm not too concerned... 1/2 way through and 8 lbs gained. Hopefully, this crazy weather will 'peace out' so I can get outside and get active!

Anyways, it's worth it for the little turd.

It's definitely still a boy and I get another ultrasound at 24 weeks! Yay! He was being a major s.t.i.n.k.e.r. and wouldn't let them get a good picture of his heart... The tech said she saw everything and it all looked great, but couldn't get the picture she/doctor wanted... So, bonus ultrasound. Can't beat that!

Big Girl Hair-Cut!

That's right folks, I finally cut her baby curls off! I was ready for it, so it wasn't as emotional as I always imagined it would be! Her hair was long, curly on bottom and straight on top. Cute, but straggly. Most all of the time in a pony-tail.

We had a doozy of a day today! In fact, I told Matt that after the girls were down, I was leaving! haha ... And, didn't know if I'd come back! ;-) I kid, I kid! But, it really was a rough day for all parties involved. But, I was able to get away and gather my thoughts... I started looking at all these sweet, sweet pictures of the girls and I'm ready to tackle another day! 70+ degrees weather tomorrow doesn't hurt either! ;-) I can't wait to be outside most of the day!

We have Pandora on our Blu-Ray Disc Player and I recently made a Disney Channel for the girls. We've had some great dance party's lately and this time Daddy got in on the action!

I don't think I've adequately described how much I love my hubs! He's been full of little surprises lately and the latest takes the cake!

With my pregnancies with the girlies, I was all.about. mexican. Qdoba in general. With this pregnancy, ~did you get the memo that I'm having a BOY!? Insane!~ anyways, with this pregnancy, I've CRAVED French Onion Soup and Shrimp Scampi. Weird, I know. Must be the testosterone in me! ;-) SO, Saturday afternoon, Matt sets out on a little adventure. Not letting me in on his plans, he comes back with all the ingredients for... wait for it... French Onion Soup and Shrimp Scampi! LOVE HIM! and he seriously knows the path right to my heart!

A great chef is never a neat chef! ;-)

16 Weeks

Ugh! I look rough!

The hair is getting chopped... soon! I can't handle it anymore!

My nausea while eating has finally disappeared! But, the headaches are still lingering...

I'm still exhausted! all.the.time! When's it going to end!?

I'm low on iron this go around, so I guess I better go get those supplements my doc was talking about. I wonder if they'll help!?

I've started feeling little pokes and kicks! Love.it!

I've gained 2 lbs. and am slowly starting to peek at my maternity clothes selection to see what options I have.

The dot on my eye still hasn't shown up! Thank goodness! I had it with both of my girls!

It's a BOY!

Crazy to even think... All I know is girls.girls.girls. I'm trying to get in the frame of mind of what to do about his room,etc. and I keep drawing blanks! I guess I'll just give it a few weeks until it actually sets in! ;-)

Amelia is obsessed. I think this may be part of the reason she's become quite the climber! Lil' Stink!

It seems like we spend alot more time around the kitchen table doing random things that would have normally been done in the playroom or elsewhere. Love it.

I've had food aversions, but am coming out of that... THANKFULLY!

First Tumbling Class!

So, apparently, every post is about Cyd right now! Matt and I didn't really know what to get her for her birthday, she needs 3T summer clothes, but I couldn't bring myself to buy any, so we chose a tumbling class instead! And, let me tell you, she LOVES it!

***Rant Warning***

So, I call all of the local gyms for pricing... And, holy moly, how ridiculous are they!?!? Sorry, my child just turned THREE... I have no idea if she'll even LIKE this sort of thing and I will definitely NOT pay 100+ for a class and then a yearly fee! They are making some bank off parents! So, I heeded some advice from a friend from church who takes her kiddo's to the Park's and Recreation Classes. So, I call and get exactly what I'm looking for! A five week class (not too long, not too short!) for $35! Sign Cyd up! When the kiddo's get older and start showing their clear interests in sports/activities, Matt and I will be more than willing to spend more money on those classes, but not when I'm trying to 'feel out' what they're going to be interested in! Obviously, that's just my opinion... I hope I didn't offend anyone on that rant! ;-)

Chucky Cheese's! (Birthday celebration #2)

Tad late, but it's been a crazy January for the Naville's!

We had the girls' birthday party on January 16th, which happened to be Evie's actual birthday, so when Cyd's big day arrived, January 18th, I just felt we should make it a special day too! So, we made our FIRST trek to Chucky Cheese's! I'm personally not a huge fan of the place, case in point: Cyd ended up getting strep soon afterward, BUT, she and Evie had a ball and it was worth all the chaos and so-so, but pricey pizza!

Fun Times with Otis!

While Beth & John were hanging in the hospital, we got the pleasure to watch their other little fella, Otis! He is such a sweet spirited doggy! Cyd & Mimi loved having him & miss him so much! ;-)

Welcome to the World Andrew Jerald!

Meet our new nephew, Andrew Jerald Custis! He's super sweet and gave us a run for our money on Thursday/Friday! ;-) Beth labored from 5 am Thursday to 5 am Friday! Bless her sweet soul! ;-) Debbie, Jerry and the sis-in-laws (and, of coarse, John) were all there to welcome the newest addition to the Naville/Custis family into this world! It was worth the all-nighter! ;-) Beth & John are going to be great parents!!

Bad, grainy picture... :-( Poor little man was hating the flash, so I wasn't about to take another one!

We love you so much, AJ, & can't wait to watch you grow!

NYC 2011

Matt had a work trip to NYC in early January and I tagged along! We were away from the girls for 5 days, missed them terribly, but had an awesome time together! Much needed! I'm assuming that's the last trip before babe #3 comes, so we savored every moment!

Matt will do anything to put a smile on the girls face! ;-) (Unbeknownst to us, if you take a picture with these fellas, they expect a tip! Stockings were out and ready right after the camera flashed! ;-))

We had a BLAST at the Letterman show! Tim McGraw (nice eye candy) and Shaq (hilarious!) were the guests'! We were even caught on camera a hand-full of times and I snagged a bird! ;-)

I wish the girls were with me to tour this store! It was awesome!
(How am I gonna cut out the 'F'!? grr! Still learning how to be a photographer with my new camera!)

I had to check this thing out! I LOVED the move 'Big'!

Never got on it though... I was touring by myself that day, so I was content with just watching this little fella dance around! ;-) Made me miss the girls!

Outside the Plaza Hotel were a ton of horse & carriages! Wish Matt was with me, b/c we would've definitely been joyriding around Cental Park in one!

Our hotel was just a few blocks away from the fashion center! You better believe I kept my eyes open for some celebrit sightings... but, to no avail, no such luck!

Did you hear about all the trash!? They weren't kidding! There were MUCH BIGGER piles than this hanging around!

Luckily, we were there a week before they started taking down all of the Christmas decorations (However, Macy's had already taken down all of their Christmas deco in the windows... Apparently, they are a site to see)! You definitely can't beat a Christmas in NYC, but I'd take a trip there in the Spring or Fall anyday over winter! It.was.cold!

We had an awesome time and can't wait to go back!

Miss Cyd, and Evie, turned three this last week! I can remember both of their 'birth' days like it was yesterday and I love being able to share all of these special days with Tiff! (We're all still waiting on them to tell us they're pregnant too! ;-) haha).

We've been loving snuggling up with the girls on our movie nights! Since we can't get outside anymore, we've been doing a movie night or two each week. Once we build up our game repetoire, we'll be throwing that in there too! They are both at such a fun (and sometimes trying) age!

Like I said in my last post, I just really haven't felt like blogging lately! I don't know why.... I haven't even been taking pictures! Gasp, I know! Each month I usually take over a hundred, but I just looked at my camera and there aren't over 10 on there! Call it blogger's block, burnt out, whatever, but we're still here living the daily grind and loving it! ;-) mostly. haha.

Anyways, here are a few pictures of the girls playing with the AquaDoodle and MagnaDoodle. Surprisingly, Mimi loves it too! She actually 'draws'.... Or, I guess, her version of drawing! ;-)

Happy Halloween!

Sorry, this post is all over the place! I really haven't wanted to blog lately! So, I'm starting with yesterday (Halloween), then last Monday (decorating cookies), then Friday (Navilleton Halloween Party), then two Sundays ago (Carving pumpkins)!

We kicked the day off with church, then my bro-in-law, Jerry, getting ordained! We are sososo proud of him and feel very blessed to be a part of his day! Congrats Uncle Dewey!

And, lastly, Trick-or-Treating! What a day!

We had the Naville's and Smith's (Tiff's family) over for some soup and gathering candy around our neighborhood. Count them up.. Yes, that's 20 PEOPLE including kids! It was so much fun!

Mimi was a flower this time. Cyd was a 'fairy bee'. ;-) haha
So, rewinding to last Monday, Matt and Mimi went to run some errands and Cyd and I had some one-on-one time decorating cookies! She had a ball and I'm pretty sure ate more sprinkles than decorated with! ;-) It was a fun night.

Now, rewind to this past Friday night, we went to the Navilleton Halloween Party (Jerry & Deb's church). It had alot of crafts, pumpkin painting, picture taking spot, potato bag racing, scavenger hunt, magic show, ... It was a good time!

13 Months!

I'm not quite sure when my baby got so 'big'. It's absolutely amazing the things she's doing now and how quickly she's picking things up. I attribute alot of it to Cydni 'helping' me. I try to include her as much as I can... to demonstrate signing and explaining to her about how to be a good example. She's two, so my expectations aren't too high, but she's been doing awesome being Mimi's 'little momma'! ;-)

Right now, Mimi is just exploding with more firsts'. I try to write them down as we go, but I'm sure I'm missing some. Anywho, here we go!

First time with a spoon! She did pretty good! Alas, we haven't done it much since, b/c it's just so much easier to do it for her... I know, I know... I just need to let her go at it.

Can you see a trend in the next few pictures!? ;-)

She loves her some babies! They always make her frowns turn upside down! ;-)

She's now signing: More, Please, milk and, out of the blue today, she did thank you! We're working on 'More, Please' now.

She knows where her head, belly, eyes and nose are.

She's saying two-syllable words now. Mostly, 'Mommy,' 'Daddy,' & 'Doggy'.

And, randomly, she says 'balloon'! Yes, you saw that right. We still have balloons from Cyd's birthday and from Yo Gabba Gabba, so they're an integral part of our days. ;-)

She knows what a duck is and that it 'quacks'.

I have to thank Cyd for helping me with the signing and body parts! She's usually the one demonstrating for me.

She has a new-found love for the slide! And, yes, her thumb and belly-button are like crack for her.
We introduced her to ketchup and she's a BIG fan!

She loves feeding me and picking things off the carpet and giving them to me. It reminds me when I need to vacuum! ;-)

She's had a runny nose the last couple days and I'll put a kleenex in front of her and say, "blow".... She blows!.... Just out her mouth! ;-) haha

Up to 6 teeth!

One reason I tend to feed her myself is because she's such a sloppy eater!

She's finally done with bottles! I held out awhile until I knew she was taking to milk in her sippy.. She just guzzles it down now.

Still taking two naps. I always wake her up by 11 in the morning though, so I know she'll go down with Cyd at 1... Love having some 'me' time during the day!

She's getting alot more brave with standing on her own and taking steps. She's up to 5 (the last two being quick steps, but hey, they count... right!? ;-)). Getting there!

And, lastly, her first pumpkin carving/painting adventure! It was actually Cyd's too. We didn't do much last year since Mimi was just a month old... I'm pretty sure Mom & Dad had a better time than both the girls! ;-)

There's that belly-button again! It's insane how much she 'needs' that thing!

While we were still coming off the high of Veggie Tales on Friday, that following Sunday we were given tickets to YO Gabba Gabba Live (for Monday, yes the next day)! Honestly, I've heard of Yo Gabba Gabba, but we've never watched the show... But, how could I pass this up! Another day out for us! So, that Monday morning before we took off, we were 'you-tubing' episodes! ;-) We got a good feel for it and were excited to go!

Cyd and I had a Mommy and Me night out to Veggie Tales Live!

We rounded up all the other cuz's and headed out Friday night and I'm pretty sure it was safe to say that it was a hit! I had fun myself too! I've caught myself saying 'tomato' instead of 'tomorrow' (Bob the tomato is Cyd's favorite, so I'm assuming that's why I'm mixing that particular name up..???)! ;-) haha. Random, I know, but the songs just get stuck in your head!

Amelia's First Trip To The Zoo!

And, she LOVED it!

I was amazed at how observant and aware she was of all the animals! We will definitely be getting membership for next year! ;-)

This was another fun trip planned for her birthday and we all had an absolute ball. I'm loving this stage with both of my girls.. most of the time! ;-) haha. I could do without the mini-tantrums and picky eating, but that comes with the ages, right!? ;-)
