Growing!

Oh my.  There are no words for this post!  How in the world is my little man one already!?  He's is growing too fast and I wish I could just freeze time right now!  I can't get enough of his kisses and snuggling and it makes me so sad that one day he's not going to need me like he does now.  He's a momma's boy and I'm sure it annoys some people, but I just eat it up, b/c it won't be like this for much longer.  :(  

He's into EVERYTHING!  When it's quiet, I have to stop and  scan the room to see what trouble he's getting into!  A lot of the time, he's snuck into another room so I'm scowering the house.  :)

I don't see walking anytime in the near future, but he's finally pulling up and cruising!  The girls, Cydni in particular, isn't too fond of this new milestone.  This area used to be her safety zone from him..  Not so much anymore!

We don't do baths together, b/c the girls take showers, but we let them get in with him one night and he loved it!  He was going crazy!

I couldn't help myself.  My little Amelia.  :)

He was slap happy here on our way home from Evansville late one night.  

He LOVES getting in the big pool.  Pretty sure he went under atleast 5 times b/c he would get so excited!

July 2012 in review

So, my hubs is out of town...  I hate going to sleep when he's gone, so I've been finding every reason not to go to bed!  :)  I'm watching the olympics, pinning, facebooking,surfing the web and then it dawned on me...  I need to do a blog post!  :)  Notice, I did not mention one thing related to cleaning!  ha!  

So, our past month has been pretty low key...  Don't be alarmed...  there are few pictures of Little Man and there's a good reason!  I'm saving them for his FIRST BIRTHDAY post!  crazy, unreal, bitter-sweet and holy smokes, where in the world did the time go!?!?

Anyways, I'll save that for that post.  I hardly ever take pictures with my big camera anymore!  Gotta love the Iphone!

We've done a lot of swimming in the backyard.

We went to Evansville to visit my family for my niece & nephews birthday party.

I always get so sentimental when my kiddo's are in bed...  I should've done this..  I was too hard on them with this...  I'm mean, distracted, etc. etc. etc....  Oh, the joys of parenting!

Elijah is 11 months old!

I swear, I can't get my stuff together!  I can't do anything 'on-time' anymore.  But, alas, atleast it's getting done!  :)

So, here it is, Little man is 11 months old!  I sure can't believe it.  As most of you know, it just flies by!  He's really coming into his own and is such sweet boy.

This month he:

Went to Florida for the first time!  And, he LOVED it! 

He's a dancing machine!

Always looking around for his sisters!  

(Their room is at the end of this hall.)

Tooth #5 popped through!

The boat ride was by far his favorite part of our trip!

I'm now trying to wrap my mind around planning his FIRST birthday party!  I've got it all in my head, I just can't get my act together to start gathering things up!  Imagine that!  ;)

Florida!!

Well, our first family vacation of 5 is in the books!  We had an awesome time and learned a few things along the way!  One being, don't take four kids, four and under, to a restaurant around their bedtime...  even on vacation!  It took us two times for it to sink in and boy, did we learn the hard way! :)  By the end of the week, we also had our 'game plan' down pat for setting up and tearing down all of our stuff on the beach.  We are pro's. :)

Actually, we loved it so much, that we have a '3 year' plan to move down there!  Whether we do it or not, we're going to have all our ducks in a row to be able to make a decision without the worry of debt.  :)  Eek!  I'm so excited!  We've always talked and dreamed about living on/near the beach and I can't believe it could be a reality!  

We made a quick detour on our way down to visit the Jones'!  LOVED our time with them and we adore their sweet kiddo's!

Sister had a love/hate relationship with the ocean.  By the last day though, she was out with her sister jumping the waves! :)

Yes, those are my girls in there and I still CAN'T believe they actually did it!  They aired those balls up with an outside 'blower'!  So, they had to sit in a deflated ball while it was airing up and it was LOUD and I was proud!  Just a little thing to show me how brave they are! :)

So, while we were gone, Lola the fish went to be with Jesus.  We decided against trying to get a replacement fish and fool the girls, so we broke the news as we were driving into Indiana.  Amelia didn't take it too well...  :(  Good news is...  She's over it now.  haha

I fell in love with this Chick all over again down there. 

 She had an absolute BALL, was so brave and was game for anything, anytime.

Unfortunantly, I know what was truly going on!  Let's just say, Amelia wasn't very happy at this moment. :)

Somehow, I took around 400 pictures, so you obviously got a little snippet of our vacation.  These all are actually from my phone!  But, I'm so glad we took the plunge and went on this vacation.  I was so scared how my kids would do at this age and if it would be worth it...  And, Cyd's experience alone was worth it and then some! We thought Eli was going to be our wild card, but he was a TROOPER!  He loved it!  Amelia was the iffy one.  She wanted to be held quite a bit in the ocean and was a bit moody, but in her defense, her two top molars were trudging through regardless of the fact that we were on vacay!  :)  I can't wait to see her when she's 100%!

Elijah is 10 months old!

My little man is just getting so big!  He's so stinkin' sweet and has the goofiest head of hair! :)  haha!  He's quite the mama's boy, but I know he will grow out of it too soon, so I'm trying not to care too much what people think about it!  I love him to pieces (obviously...he's my child, but it's just instinctive to write it!) and want to just freeze time right now.  Yes, we do have hard times, but man, he can just bat those baby blues and smile with his little beaver teeth and I melt like putty!  :)

Anyways, onto the milestones!

Sweet boy...  He's finally army crawling around and does the cutest (and fastest) little backward scoot!

He's saying: 'hi,' 'bye,' and 'uh oh!'  :)

He's also doing 'pat-a-cake' and 'SO BIG'!

He and his daddy are growing quite the bond...  He better step back!  haha!  JK! :)

He's on all formula now and eating all table food.
